Chris and Jeff Galvin opened their eponymous French bistrot on London's Baker Street in September 2005 aiming to provide good and honest French cuisine, affordably priced, and served in an informal, friendly atmosphere; reminiscent of the traditional bistrots of France.

With their Michelin-starred backgrounds the Galvin brothers have created a menu packed full of French classics, using only the finest seasonal ingredients. This award-winning restaurant has been heralded a success by the critics and the Zagat London Restaurants 2008 Guide claims ‘A real bistrot in London at last…….superb atmosphere, robust French food as it used to be and a fine wine list.'

Following on from the success of Galvin Bistrot de Luxe, Galvin at Windows opened in May 2006 to critical acclaim, and has already won awards for its service, wine list and food, being named a ‘rising star' in the Michelin Guide to Great Britain & Ireland 2007.
